Fentress County Bus Discipline Code

In response to misbehavior/excessive rowdiness/rudeness/not following rules/violence/threats of violence:

Step One: An oral or written warning or assignment of seat will be issued (or both)

Step Two: Two day suspension of transportation privileges.

Step Three: Ten day suspension of transportation privileges.

Step Four: Semester suspension of transportation privileges.

Step Five: One Academic year suspension of transportation privileges.

*Written notifications of each step will be sent to parents from the principal.

*The Director of Schools or Transportation has the option of advancing steps in severe misbehavior situations.

*Discipline Code may be administered by the principal or bus driver. Bus Driver is authorized to assign seats.

"Don't Lose Your Riding Privilege!" Follow these rules:

Observe same conduct as in the classroom, Be courteous, use no profane language, Do not eat or drink on the bus, Keep the bus clean, Cooperate with the driver, Do not be destructive, Stay in your seat, and Keep head, hands and feet inside the bus.
