Emergency Procedures

Fire/Bomb Threat: Promptly and orderly clear the building according to prescribed exit route. Teachers will take class roll book with them to account for all students once outside.

Tornado Drills: Tornado drills will be held periodically to insure that proper procedures are followed should a tornado appear in our area. The signal for a tornado drill is five short bells. Students are then taken to designated areas in hallway and placed sitting and facing the wall with hands over heads.

Medication Policy

Medications shall be limited to those required during school hours and necessary to provide the student access to the educational program. The child must be competent to self-administer the medication with assistance. The condition, for which the medication has been prescribed, must be stable. If a child is required to take oral medication during school hours and the parent cannot be at school to administer
