Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze District and School TCAP Math and Science Scores, percent below, proficient, advanced to determine strengths and challenges by district, school, teacher for each subskill
Update Fentress County’s Math and Science Curriculum
Work with new teachers, teachers with new positions, and those with challenges based on TCAP Score Analysis
Inform teachers about and model effective instructional strategies, assessment strategies, and test score interpretation
Plan and facilitate grade level and subject area meetings
Observe and evaluate teachers
Co-chair and facilitate 6th Grade Science Day
Co-chair and facilitate Fentress County Science Fair
Plan and facilitate 6th –8th Grade School and County Science Decathlons
Attend Advisory Board meetings
Assist in developing and updating System’s Consolidated Plan
