English Daily--You can find some really good online ESL language lessons

Speak, Read, Write--Free online materials and audio (mp3s) to help ESL students speak, read, write, and understand English as well as North American customs. This site includes an idiom e-book, articles, easy readers, short stories, puzzles, worksheets, etc.

ESL Galaxy--ESL/EFL/TEFL/TESL Lessons--Powerpoint lessons, interactive listening and quizzes, lesson plan materials, board games, music & video worksheets, e-learning pack, word search, kids worksheets, flash cards and more at ESL-Galaxy.

Learn English--You'll find this site really useful for adult learners. It is free and has TONS of resources. It offers everything!

Create your own Dr. Seuss Story-Help English Learners Learn--A new website, The Dr. Seuss Story Maker, leads students through several steps to create a dialogue between two Dr. Seuss characters. This particular aspect of the site could be decidedly helpful for English language learners in practicing English. In addition the site includes a whole host of other fun activities.

Lookybook.com--This is a beta version--it's free!! Dolly says there are tons of good liitle books on here, to read entirely online--Many of these are on Accelerated Reader--so the kids can test after reading online.

Dave's ESL Cafe-This is a general resource forum for ESL and EFL teachers and students.  Lesson plans include idioms, slang expressions, phrasal verbs, and online quizzes. 

English as a Second Language-This site offers many worthwhile ESL sites in several subject areas.  Categories include listening, reading, writing, grammar, lesson plans, kids' English, newspapers, magazines, ESL jobs, etc.

English Language Learner Knowledge Base-This online resource supports education professionals in the administration of programs for ESL students, helping administrators develop and maintain school and district wide programs. 

English Learners: California Department of Education-This site addresses education issues, instructional resources, lesson plans, curriculum, and organizations and agencies.

ESL Flow-Research ESL ideas and create lessons/courses as quickly as possible.  Includes ice breakers, stories, role-plays, debates, vocabulary, writing ideas, and more.

Everything ESL-Here are culture-base ESL resources for ESL and bilingual teachers.  This site includes topical discussions, teaching strategies, content-based ESL lesson plans and classroom activities for beginning through intermediate students, and a resource bibliography.

Interesting Things for ESL Students-Find quizzes, puzzles, and games on this easy-to-navigate site.

Internet Picture Dictionary-This site id designed especially for ESL students and beginning English learners of all ages. 

Internet TESL Journal-This is a monthly web journal and general resource for ESL teachers of all ages groups.  The site has archived articles and resources on lesson plans, handouts, conversation questions, games and jokes, online activities for students, and links to other resources. 

National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition & Language Instruction Educational Programs (NCELA)-This site contains information relating to the effective education of linguistically and culturally diverse students in the United States. 

Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL)-This site contains grammar and composition resources, including handouts for ESL students covering verb tenses and forms, count and recount nouns, adjectives and adverbs, preposition, numbers, spelling, capitalization, and links to other resources.

Topics: An Online Magazine for Learners of English-This online meeting forum encourages students to write articles on any topic, share cultural traditions, and express themselves via writing, editorials and movie/book reviews.
